Choice and a shared table

Buffet catering

Guests choose from an arranged spread. A staffed buffet suits a varied menu when the room has space for serving lines.

Fit the service to the venue

Ask for a layout showing the queue, serving surfaces and return route. Consider two-sided access where the venue and caterer support it.

Questions for your first conversation

Who replenishes each dish? Are attendants included? How will guests with a separate meal receive it?

Compare the complete quote

Ask for separate details for: Food, buffet equipment, attendants, table linen, plates, cutlery and removal of equipment.

Make a written service plan

Include the location, guest count, arrival time, serving window and person coordinating on the day. Record who supplies equipment, who receives deliveries and who clears the space. Ask how changes to numbers or timing affect the quote.
