Food delivered, hosting in your hands
Drop-off catering
Prepared food arrives for the host or venue team to serve. It works best when somebody is clearly responsible for receiving and setting it out.
Fit the service to the venue
Choose a delivery window and an on-site contact. Ask the provider for handling and serving instructions appropriate to the actual menu.
Questions for your first conversation
What arrives ready to serve? Is setup included? Are containers collected? What should the host supply?
Compare the complete quote
Ask for separate details for: Delivery, packaging, serving utensils, labels, setup and any equipment return charge.
Make a written service plan
Include the location, guest count, arrival time, serving window and person coordinating on the day. Record who supplies equipment, who receives deliveries and who clears the space. Ask how changes to numbers or timing affect the quote.
